Lonesome Pines Beef has been raising beef since 2005. We raise all natural grass fed beef on our farm in Nashville, Michigan. Our farm was in a CRP program for over 20 years. (Farmers enrolled in this program agree to remove environmentally sensitive land from agricultural production and to plant species that will improve environmental health and quality. Contracts for land enrolled in CRP are 10-15 years in length.)
Lonesome Pines Beef raises only true beef cattle and our beef is U.S.D.A. inspected for safety. Our herd bull is registered with the American-International Charolais Association. Our farm market truck is also U.S.D.A. inspected. We are licensed through the State of Michigan to transport and sell our product.
Lonesome Pines Beef is FREE of antibiotics and growth hormones, is grass fed and grass finished the natural way. Our pastures are enriched only with lime, a natural mineral. Public safety is our main concern and we assure our customers receive the best our farm has to offer – healthy, clean beef.
Lonesome Pines Beef is brought to the customer frozen. It’s also vacuum sealed for better and longer shelf life. Our farm market truck is equipped with freezers, run by generators at all times.
WE ARE THE FARM! All our beef comes from our farm, there is NO middle man. The farm is run by husband and wife, Jerry and Jackie Goddard, and their son Jerry, Jr.
